Chris Brown & Usher at SoFi Stadium: Tickets and Getting There

Chris Brown and Usher play SoFi Stadium four times in 2026 on The R&B Tour — 25 and 26 September, then 15 and 16 November. If you are reading this before the November shows, you still have time to do this properly: buy from a seller the venue actually names, and sort out how you are getting to Inglewood before the week of the show.

This guide covers the ticket side first, then the part most people leave too late.

The four 2026 dates

• Friday 25 September 2026 — 7:30 PM
• Saturday 26 September 2026 — 7:30 PM
• Sunday 15 November 2026 — 7:30 PM
• Monday 16 November 2026 — 7:30 PM, a fourth Los Angeles show added after the original run sold well

Worth noticing: the November pair is a Sunday and a Monday. That is unusual for stadium shows and it matters for planning — a Monday-night concert finishing near 11pm lands directly against a working Tuesday, and a Sunday show competes with the end of the weekend. Whatever you arrange for getting home, arrange it before the day.

Buying tickets without getting stung

SoFi Stadium names Ticketmaster as the ticket seller on its own event pages, and links to it directly from each date. For suites, SoFi points at its own suites site. Those are the two routes the venue itself endorses.

Practical points that save people money and grief:

• Start from the venue’s event page, not a search result. SoFi links the official seller from each date. Following that link means you cannot land on a lookalike resale site by accident — which is the single most common way people overpay.
• Check what you are actually buying. Resale listings sit alongside face-value inventory and are not always obviously marked. Look at the seller and the total before fees, not the headline number.
• Be sceptical of any seller asking for payment by transfer, gift card or app-to-app payment. Legitimate sellers do not need those.
• Screenshot your confirmation and know whether your ticket is a mobile transfer. Stadium entry for a sold-out show is not the moment to be troubleshooting a wallet app.
• Accessible seating is booked differently. If you need it, go through the venue rather than a resale listing, because an accessible seat bought on resale may not carry the accommodation you need.

Then the part people leave too late

Once you have tickets, the open question is how you reach Kareem Court in Inglewood on a night when about seventy thousand other people are trying to do the same thing.

SoFi publishes the rules, and two of them decide most of the plan:

• Cars, taxis, limos, buses and shuttles drop off on the northbound curb lane on Kareem Court. Pickup afterwards is at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard.
• If you are driving yourself, you must have a parking pass in advance. SoFi’s wording is blunt: “All guests MUST have a parking pass. If you do not have a parking pass you will be turned away and directed to offsite options.”

That second rule is the one that catches people. Buying a parking pass on the night is not an option, and discovering it at the gate costs you the opening act.

Your realistic options

• Drive and park — cheapest if you buy the pass early and do not mind the exit. You will wait in the lot afterwards regardless of how quickly you reach your car.
• Public transit — SoFi publishes Metro C and K Line access with shuttle service, plus several municipal bus options. For NFL games these are well signposted; check what runs for a concert, since event transit service varies by event.
• Rideshare — works, but surge pricing after a stadium show is at its worst, and you join the same queue at the same pickup zone as everyone else.
• A chauffeur — costs more than the alternatives. It is worth it in specific situations rather than all of them, which we would rather say plainly.

When a chauffeur is genuinely the right answer

Not always. It earns its cost when:

• You cannot predict when you will leave. Encores and support-act overruns make a booked return time a guess.
• It is the Monday show and you work Tuesday. An unpredictable exit on a work night is exactly the problem this solves.
• You are a group. One vehicle beats several rideshares that then have to find each other again.
• Dinner is attached before or after, so the evening has several legs.
• You are flying in and the airport, hotel and stadium are all in one day.
• You want a drink at the show without thinking about the drive.

If none of those apply and you are happy to drive, buy the parking pass early and enjoy the show. That is honest advice and we will give it.

How to check a car service is actually licensed

This is the part almost nobody does, and it takes about a minute. In California, a company carrying passengers for hire on a prearranged basis needs a charter-party carrier permit from the California Public Utilities Commission — the TCP number. It is a public record.

1. Ask for the TCP number, and look it up on the CPUC’s carrier portal. Confirm the status is active and the registered name matches the company taking your payment.
2. Ask for the certificate of insurance. A licensed operator produces one without friction; reluctance tells you something.
3. Ask who the carrier on your trip will be. Booking platforms and brokers frequently assign the job to somebody else. You are entitled to know who is actually driving you, and to look them up too.
4. Get the quote in writing — the total, what is included, and what waiting time costs. A verbal number at 11pm outside a stadium is not a quote.
5. For a larger vehicle, ask about inspection status. Vehicles seating more than ten including the driver, and any modified limousine, fall under a California Highway Patrol safety inspection requirement.

One detail worth knowing because it is widely misquoted: a Class P permit covers charter services using vehicles with a passenger seating capacity of 15 or fewer, which is where most sedan, SUV and small-van work sits. That is a different number from the more-than-ten inspection threshold. If a company cannot speak clearly about which authority it holds, that is worth noticing.

Why this matters more on a stadium night

Most of the year the gap between a licensed chauffeur and whatever turns up is invisible. On a sold-out SoFi night it is not:

• Price. Rideshare pricing peaks exactly when seventy thousand people all want a car at once. A pre-agreed fare does not move.
• Certainty. Your chauffeur is assigned to you and nobody else. You are not competing with the whole stadium for the same pool of drivers.
• The pickup geography. We know the Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard pickup area and the westbound Pincay Drive approach, and dispatch is reachable if anything shifts on the night.
• Recourse. A licensed carrier is a regulated business with a permit that can be checked and a complaint route that exists. That is not true of every car that shows up.

What to sort out before the day

1. Which date — the November pair are adjacent, so say Sunday or Monday.
2. Whether you can predict your exit. If not, a chauffeur on standby beats a fixed return time.
3. Party size and luggage, so the vehicle is right the first time.
4. Parking pass, if you are driving. In advance, not on the night.
5. Flight details, if you are flying in for the show.
6. Accessibility needs — SoFi directs accessible drop-off and pickup to the Hyundai Orange parking zone entry.
