Stagecoach 2027 Transportation: Getting to Indio for Riley Green, Zach Top and Garth Brooks
Stagecoach 2027 is April 23\u201325 at the Empire Polo Club. The country weekend has earlier gates, a midnight finish and a camping crowd that changes the traffic. Airports, the drive, the shuttle, rideshare at midnight, passes, and what a chauffeur from LA or Palm Springs costs.
Stagecoach 2027 runs April 23–25 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the weekend after Coachella's second weekend, with Riley Green on Friday, Zach Top on Saturday and Garth Brooks on Sunday, plus Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Turnpike Troubadours, Carín León and a Florida Georgia Line reunion set. Passes are on sale now at stagecoachfestival.com with a payment plan through November 30. This post is about the transportation: the same fields as Coachella, a very different weekend.
Dates: Friday April 23 – Sunday April 25, 2027
Where: Empire Polo Club, 81-800 Avenue 51, Indio, CA 92201
Hours: gates in the early afternoon; the festival says each day ends on or before midnight
Private car from LAX: from $428.72 one way (Comfort Sedan); from Palm Springs airport from $133.52; by the hour from $80 (November 3, 2026)
Why Stagecoach traffic is different
Three things change the roads around Indio for Stagecoach. Gates open earlier than Coachella, so the arrival wave is in the afternoon. The music ends by midnight, so the exit is one sharp wave rather than a long trickle. And a large part of the crowd camps or parks RVs on and around the grounds, so the local roads are heavy on Thursday and Friday arrivals and on the Sunday night exodus. If you are driving from Los Angeles, Friday afternoon out and Sunday night back are the two drives to plan for.
Airports: Palm Springs, Ontario or LAX
Palm Springs International (PSP) is 22 miles from the fields and the easiest airport if the fares work: a Comfort Sedan to the Empire Polo Club was $133.52 one way on November 3, 2026, an Escalade $216.40. Ontario (ONT) is about 75 miles away with more flights. LAX has the most flights and the longest drive, about 145 miles; a chauffeur tracks the flight and drives straight to the valley, from $428.72 in a Comfort Sedan, $665.35 in an Escalade, or $1,610.05 in a Sprinter for up to 14.
The festival shuttle, camping and rideshare
The festival sells shuttle passes that loop between designated valley stops and the grounds, and sells camping and RV spots on site; both come only from the festival and the shuttle does not serve private houses. Rideshare drops at a designated lot and is fine in the afternoon; at midnight the whole crowd leaves within the same half hour and the lot queues. A chauffeur on standby stages outside the perimeter and is positioned before the last song.
The late-night desert drive
The run from Indio back to Los Angeles is two hours of dark interstate after a long day in the sun, and on Sunday it starts after Garth Brooks closes the festival at midnight. That is the drive people regret doing themselves. A chauffeur who has done the I-10 at midnight many times, a car with room to sleep, and a fare that was fixed before you left is the Stagecoach booking we take most often.
What it costs
Transfers are priced by distance and shown before you pay: LAX from $428.72, Beverly Hills from $416.72, Palm Springs airport from $133.52 in a Comfort Sedan, with the return 5% less when booked together.
