Where Stagecoach is and what the weekend looks like
Stagecoach uses the Empire Polo Club at 81-800 Avenue 51, Indio, the weekend after Coachella's second weekend. Gates open in the early afternoon and the festival states that each day ends on or before midnight. Thousands of guests camp or park RVs on and around the grounds, which means the local roads are busiest in the afternoon arrivals and at the midnight exit rather than spread through the night.
Headliners for 2027, announced September 14, 2026: Riley Green on Friday, Zach Top on Saturday and Garth Brooks on Sunday, with Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Turnpike Troubadours and Carín León on the lineup and a Florida Georgia Line reunion set. Set times are published closer to the weekend.
Driving from Los Angeles and Orange County
From Los Angeles the route is the I-10 east, about 145 miles from LAX and 2 to 2.5 hours without traffic; from Orange County the 60 or the 91 to the I-10. Friday afternoon is the heavy direction out; Sunday night after Garth Brooks is the heavy direction home, and it is a dark two-hour drive after a long day in the sun. That drive is the single best reason to book a chauffeur rather than drive yourself.
Palm Springs, Ontario or LAX
Palm Springs International (PSP) is 22 miles from the fields and the easy choice if the fares work: a Comfort Sedan to the Empire Polo Club was $133.52 on November 3, 2026, an Escalade $216.40. Ontario (ONT) is about 75 miles away with more flights. LAX has the most options and the longest drive; a chauffeur tracks the flight (30 minutes of complimentary waiting after a domestic landing, 60 after an international one) and drives straight to the valley: from $428.72 in a Comfort Sedan, $665.35 Escalade, $1,610.05 Sprinter for up to 14.
The festival shuttle and the camping lots
The festival sells shuttle passes that run between designated valley stops and the grounds during operating hours, and sells camping and RV spots on site. Both are sold only by the festival; check the official site for the 2027 stops, hours and prices. The shuttle does not serve private houses and leaves on its schedule, not yours.
Rideshare at midnight
Uber and Lyft use a designated lot. Going in is fine; coming out, the entire crowd leaves within the same half hour after the headliner and the lot queues. If you need a specific car at a specific time with a fare fixed in the afternoon, book a chauffeur on standby who stages outside the perimeter and is positioned before the last song.
