Malibu Wine Tour Car Service
A productized six-hour wine tour through the Santa Monica Mountains — Rosenthal on the coast, Malibu Wines and Cielo Farms up in Saddlerock — with one chauffeur, one black car, and the vehicle waiting at every tasting room so nobody in your group has to drive.
A Designated-Driver Day Through Malibu Wine Country
Malibu’s wine country hides in the Santa Monica Mountains above the coast — a cluster of small estates strung along Mulholland Highway and the Kanan-Dume corridor that most visitors never reach because someone always has to stay sober to drive the canyon roads home. Our Malibu wine tour car service solves that: a chauffeur and a black luxury vehicle reserved as a flat six-hour block, so your whole party can taste freely while a professional handles the hairpins on Kanan Dume and Pacific Coast Highway. The standard route opens at Rosenthal’s Malibu Estate Tasting Room right on PCH near Corral Canyon, then climbs into the Saddlerock Valley for Malibu Wines (Saddlerock Ranch, the one with the bison and zebras) and finishes at Cielo Farms’ hilltop terrace — roughly 45 minutes out from Santa Monica or about an hour from Beverly Hills, all of it gorgeous and none of it your problem. The car stays with you the entire day, parked at each winery, ready with your bottles, sweaters, and coolers between stops. Because it’s billed by the hour at a clean flat rate, there are no per-stop fees, no surge, and no scramble for parking at tasting rooms with notoriously tight lots. You set the pace; we keep the day safe, on schedule, and unhurried.
What the 6-Hour Package Includes
The package is a fixed six-hour reservation built specifically for Malibu wine country — long enough for three unhurried tastings plus a relaxed lunch, short enough to keep the day flat-rate and predictable. Your chauffeur arrives at your hotel, home, or office in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, or Malibu, then drives the full loop out to the Saddlerock Valley and back. Fuel, all six hours of as-directed standby, and the chauffeur’s time are baked into the hourly rate; California sales tax applies on top, and gratuity follows the customary 15 to 20 percent. The car waits at every winery — you never re-book, never wait at a curb, and never carry your own cases. Tasting-room fees and the cost of wine are paid directly to each estate and are not part of the chauffeur package, which keeps your transportation cost clean and easy to split among the group.
The Wineries: Rosenthal, Malibu Wines & Cielo Farms
Rosenthal’s Malibu Estate Tasting Room sits right on Pacific Coast Highway near Corral Canyon — an easy, ocean-side first stop pouring estate Cabernet and Syrah from their Newton Canyon vineyards. From there it’s a scenic climb up Kanan Dume and Mulholland Highway into the Saddlerock Valley, where Malibu Wines / Saddlerock Ranch spreads across a working ranch complete with bison, zebras, and giraffes; its open-air tasting lawn is the social heart of the region. Cielo Farms caps the day from a ridgeline terrace with panoramic Santa Monica Mountain views and a quieter, reservation-driven tasting. We typically run the route Rosenthal first, then Saddlerock, then Cielo — but you can swap in Cornell-area favorites or skip a stop entirely; it’s your six hours. We’ll help coordinate tasting reservations in advance where the winery requires them, so you arrive expected, not turned away at a full lawn.
Why Chauffeured Beats Driving Yourself
Malibu’s wineries are connected by canyon roads — Kanan Dume, Mulholland Highway, Latigo Canyon — that are stunning sober and genuinely dangerous after a few pours, with blind curves, cyclists, and no shoulder. A chauffeured tour removes the one job nobody wants on a wine day: being the designated driver. It also removes parking, which at Saddlerock and Cielo can mean a long uphill walk on a hot afternoon. Your group rides together in one vehicle, bottles ride in a cool trunk instead of a hot back seat, and if the afternoon runs long you simply extend on the spot rather than racing a sunset down PCH. For couples and small parties the Executive Sedan is ideal; for groups of four to six, the Cadillac Escalade gives everyone room to spread out, and a Sprinter keeps a bachelorette or birthday group of up to fourteen together for the whole loop.
Choose your vehicle
Tell us your passenger and luggage count and we’ll recommend the right vehicle — every car late-model, immaculate, and driven by a pre-selected professional chauffeur.
Executive Sedan
Mercedes S-Class class. Quiet, business-ready comfort for 1–3 passengers with luggage.
Luxury SUV
Cadillac Escalade / Suburban for families, extra luggage, and a higher, statelier ride.
Sprinter Van
Mercedes Sprinter for groups, crews, and events with plenty of cargo room.
A better ride starts with a better-treated chauffeur
Lux4Rides was built by CEO Sam Altabbaa on a simple idea: pay professional chauffeurs fairly and you get calmer, safer, more gracious rides. Cut-rate apps squeeze drivers — and you feel it in the car. We don’t.
Chauffeurs paid fairly
Our drivers earn a real, respectful wage — so they’re relaxed, professional, and genuinely glad to take care of you.
Hand-selected & VIP-trained
Every chauffeur is pre-selected, background-checked, TCP-licensed, and trained to a discreet VIP standard — no random gig drivers.
Flat rates, no surge
The price you see is the price you pay — no peak-hour surge, no hidden fees, and 24/7 dispatch that watches your flight.

Malibu Wine Tour Car Service FAQ
Hourly chauffeur service in LA is billed at a flat per-hour rate by vehicle: roughly $85 per hour for the Executive Sedan and $110 per hour for the Cadillac Escalade SUV, with the Sprinter van higher for larger groups. The Malibu wine tour is a fixed six-hour block, so a sedan tour starts around $510 and an Escalade tour around $660 before tax and gratuity. Tasting fees and wine purchases are paid directly to each winery.
This tour is sold as a six-hour package, which is also the realistic minimum to reach Malibu wine country and enjoy three tastings without rushing the canyon drive. Our general hourly service starts at a shorter two-to-three-hour minimum, but the round trip out to the Saddlerock Valley and back makes six hours the natural fit for a proper wine day.
Fuel and all six hours of your chauffeur’s standby time are included in the flat hourly rate, with no surge and no per-stop fees. California sales tax is added on top, and gratuity follows the customary 15 to 20 percent. Tasting-room fees and the wine itself are paid directly to each estate and are separate from the transportation package.
Absolutely. The six hours are yours as-directed, so add a lunch stop in Malibu, swing by a fourth winery near Cornell, or pull over for a coastal photo on PCH. Add, drop, or reorder stops in real time; your chauffeur simply follows your lead within the booked block.
Yes — this is as-directed standby. The same chauffeur and the same black car stay with your group for the full six hours, parked at each winery and ready between stops. There’s no re-booking, no waiting at a curb, and your bottles, coolers, and belongings ride along all day.
Waiting time at each winery is included in the flat hourly rate — that’s the whole point of as-directed service. If the afternoon runs long, you can extend on the spot whenever availability allows; the additional time is simply added at the same hourly rate, so there’s no rush to beat the sunset down the canyon.
Yes. The same chauffeured, by-the-hour model works for day trips to Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley, Temecula wine country, and Ojai. Those are longer days than the Malibu loop, so we’ll quote an appropriate hourly block or a flat day rate; just tell us the region and party size and we’ll build the itinerary.
Three estates is the comfortable standard for a six-hour Malibu tour — typically Rosenthal, Malibu Wines / Saddlerock, and Cielo Farms — with time for lunch in between. A motivated group can fit a fourth shorter stop. We’ll help coordinate tasting reservations in advance for any winery that requires them, so you arrive expected rather than turned away at a full tasting lawn.
