Ten days downtown, with Thanksgiving in the middle
The LA Auto Show is one of the largest consumer auto shows in North America, filling the Convention Center’s South and West halls with new vehicles, EV test tracks and ride-alongs for ten days each November. In 2026 it runs November 20 to 29, which puts Thanksgiving weekend inside the show: the Thursday is a short day, 9 am to 4 pm, and the Friday and Saturday after are among the busiest.
Downtown parking and the Figueroa corridor get harder every day of the run, and the show’s own guidance points visitors at the garages, Metro’s Pico Station a block away, and the L.A. Live structures. Which entrance, and where the car stops
Two primary entrances serve the show. The South Hall entrance is at the corner of Pico Boulevard and Figueroa Street; the West Hall entrance is off Gilbert Lindsay Plaza, near Crypto.com Arena, with additional entrances in the Convention Center parking lots. Tell dispatch which hall or exhibit you are starting with and the chauffeur drops at the matching entrance.
Where a car may stop on Figueroa and Pico changes with the day’s traffic plan, and events at Crypto.com Arena and the Peacock Theater share the same blocks. Your chauffeur confirms the drop-off and the pickup point with you before the day, and the pickup is a short walk if the curb is closed, because the city and the venue decide where cars stand.

- That tickets are sold at the door. The show sells online in advance only.
- That the car can wait on Figueroa. The city and the venue decide where cars stand; the pickup is agreed in advance and may be a short walk.
- That Thanksgiving weekend vehicles will be available on the day. Reserve early in the week.
Press days, dealer groups and corporate hospitality
Manufacturer and dealer teams move in groups and on a schedule: a hotel in Downtown or Beverly Hills, the show, a dinner, the airport. A Sprinter keeps a team of up to eleven together with their cases and sample materials; an Escalade carries a principal and five guests; an hourly booking keeps one chauffeur with the group between the hotel, the halls and the evening, in blocks of three hours or more.

Flying in for the show: LAX to the Convention Center
From LAX the Convention Center is about 17 miles on the 105 and the 110; 30 minutes early on a weekend morning, up to an hour on a weekday afternoon. Airport pickups include flight tracking and 35 minutes of complimentary wait time, curbside at your terminal as standard or inside the terminal with a name sign for a fee. Book the return to LAX in the same reservation for 5% off, and dispatch sets the departure from your flight time and the Thanksgiving-week traffic rather than a formula.
Thanksgiving week: plan the short day and the long weekend
Thanksgiving Day, November 26, is a 9 am to 4 pm show day, and many families pair a morning at the halls with dinner afterwards. The Friday and Saturday that follow run until 10 pm and are among the busiest days of the run, with the same closing-time crowd as a concert next door.
