A Thursday 5:15 PM kickoff means leaving work early
For a 5:15 kickoff, SoFi's NFL tailgating policy says the Hyundai Pink Zone typically opens about five hours before kickoff for Rams and Chargers regular-season games, around 12:15 PM, and all other lots four hours before, around 1:15 PM; entry gates open two to three hours before kickoff, so from about 2:15 PM. The event page showed "Parking Lots Open: TBD" and "Doors Open: TBD" on October 12, so check it, and your ticket, the week of the game.
The practical window for most people is a 3 to 3:30 PM departure from Downtown, Century City or Burbank, which lands in the first hour of the evening commute on the 10, the 110 and the 405. An NFL game usually runs a little over three hours, so the exit is around 8:30 PM on a weeknight, when the roads have emptied; SoFi says lots generally close one hour after the event ends. Friday is a working day for most of your guests, which is the argument for a chauffeur who takes each of them straight home.
Tickets, suites and the parking pass
Tickets and suite tickets are sold through SoFi's event page, which showed "On Sale Now" on October 12 without prices; we quote none and sell transportation only. Lux4Rides is not affiliated with the Rams, the Chiefs, the NFL or SoFi Stadium.
If anyone plans to drive: SoFi says every guest must have a parking pass, that a vehicle without one is turned away to offsite options, and that for NFL games onsite inventory is extremely limited. There is no street parking for events in Inglewood; residential permit streets are enforced with citations and towing. Without a pass, Inglewood Park & Go remote lots run shuttles to the stadium.
Taking clients or a team
A client game is an hourly booking with several pickups and several drop-offs: the office at 3:15 PM, a hotel on the way, the Kareem Court drop-off, and after the game a sequence of homes and hotels. The chauffeur and vehicle are reserved for the hours you book, stops are unlimited, about 25 miles of local driving are included per hour, and extra time is billed at the same hourly rate. An Executive Sedan is $135 an hour plus $25 once, a Luxury SUV carries 7 passengers and 6 bags, an Escalade Elite 6 and 5, and a Mercedes Sprinter takes up to 14 when booked online and uses the same Kareem Court drop-off, since SoFi defines oversize as 16 seats or more. Tell everyone in advance that SoFi's prohibited list includes briefcases, computer bags and backpacks, and that bags over the NFL clear-bag limit go back to the vehicle or to a bag valet for a fee. Laptops stay in the car. The venue is cashless.
Tailgating on a workday
SoFi permits NFL tailgating only in the Hyundai Pink Zone with a Pink Zone pass bought in advance, opening about five hours before kickoff, so around 12:15 PM here. Tailgating stops at kickoff, there is no in-and-out, and anyone on the campus on game day, including the Pink Zone, needs a game ticket. A chauffeured car does not enter the Pink Zone; if colleagues hold the pass, the chauffeur drops you at Kareem Court early in the afternoon and stages off campus where waiting is permitted. From a noon pickup, 10 hours reaches 10 PM.
Getting there: the Kareem Court rules
SoFi's parking page sends rideshare, taxis, limos, buses and shuttles to the northbound curb lane on Kareem Court, reached only via westbound Pincay Drive from Crenshaw Boulevard, where traffic control officers direct every vehicle. The designated pickup is on Kareem Court at Manchester Boulevard. Your chauffeur follows the same route as everyone else and cannot hold a spot at the curb.
Guests with a disability have a separate NFL private-auto ADA drop-off on District Drive and an ADA pickup that must be staged by the end of the third quarter, per SoFi's accessible parking page; tell us at booking.
- From LAX: the stadium is just east of the airport; luggage stays in the vehicle, since SoFi prohibits luggage of any kind inside.
The exit on a weeknight
Message the chauffeur as the group leaves its seats; the walk to Kareem Court and Manchester takes time. On a scheduled transfer, set the return for about 45 minutes after the expected end and text dispatch if the game runs long. On an hourly booking the chauffeur is staged nearby, collects the group at the corner, and runs the drop-offs in whatever order you give: Downtown hotels first, then the Westside, then home. List the addresses when you book so the block is the right size.
Coming from across Southern California
From Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Pasadena and central Los Angeles, the commute hour you leave in matters more than the distance; 3 PM is kinder than 4. From Orange County, Irvine and Newport Beach, the 405 northbound at 3:30 PM on a Thursday is slow and the booking form raises the hourly minimum for the distance, so compare two transfers.
