Quick answer

When is Escape Halloween 2026, and how do I get to San Bernardino and back?

Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026 at the NOS Events Center, 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. with an afterparty to 6 a.m.; 18+ with physical photo ID. All taxis and guest drop-offs use one designated Guest Drop-Off and Pickup next to Big Lots, entered off S. E Street behind Target, which stays open for the whole event. Escape also publishes a Metrolink option: any regular train to San Bernardino – Downtown and a short walk, with a $25 special weekend ticket in the Metrolink app and return trains at 3 a.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday. For a private car from Los Angeles or Orange County, the distance means the fare is quoted per route in the booking form; for most groups two transfers (out and back, 5% off when booked together) beat a 10-hour standby, unless you want one vehicle for the whole night.

Plan the trip

A two-night festival 60-plus miles out: book the distance, not the clock.

Here the drive is the plan. The festival closes at 2 a.m., the afterparty at 6 a.m., and the pickup date is the next morning. Get those three facts into the booking and the rest is straightforward.

Dates, hours and who can get in

Escape lists the show dates as October 30 and 31, 2026, with festival hours 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and a separately ticketed afterparty from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Box office and will call run Friday 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Saturday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. The festival happens rain or shine.

Entry is 18+, and 21+ for alcohol and VIP. Photo ID is required: a US government license or ID card, or a passport; a foreign license needs a passport photocopy and does not get a 21+ wristband. No digital, school, consular or expired IDs. There is no re-entry once you are in for the day, no camping, and no refunds. Everyone gets a TSA-style search on the way in.

Tickets, bags and costumes

Two-day, single-day and afterparty tickets are sold on the festival site; the pages we read do not print a price, so take it from there. Lux4Rides sells transportation only. Bags: clear bags up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches, small clutches up to 6 × 9 inches (clear or not), and hydration packs with no more than two main compartments, empty on entry. Reusable water bottles are fine if empty. Glow and LED items, totems up to 10 feet and non-professional cameras are allowed.

Costume rules that affect the ride: no costumes that resemble police, fire, security or medical uniforms, no prop weapons, no handcuffs, and no full-face makeup that stops security matching your face to your ID. Props stay in the car; the festival will not store them.

Getting there: one drop-off point, free lots, and the train

The NOS Events Center is at 689 S. E Street, San Bernardino, CA 92408. Escape says all taxis and other guest drop-offs and pickups must go to the designated Guest Drop-Off and Pickup location: it is next to Big Lots; enter off S. E Street, behind Target, drive behind Target and Big Lots to the signed area, and it remains open for the entire event. That is where your chauffeur drops you and where you walk back to meet the car. The same spot serves rideshare, and Escape warns rideshare riders to expect long waits and surge pricing.

Note for Sprinter groups: Escape does not allow sprinter vans, panel vans, box trucks, RVs or camper vans into any of its parking lots, so a Sprinter uses the guest drop-off and pickup area only, which is what a chauffeured vehicle does anyway. No vehicle can hold the drop-off area; on an hourly booking the chauffeur stages where waiting is permitted and returns when you message.

  • Driving yourself: general parking is free in lighted, patrolled lots around the venue; most lots open at 2:30 p.m. (Green, Blue and Pink at 1:30 p.m.). Premier parking in the Pink Lot outside the entrance runs 2:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Vehicles must leave each night; street parking is a tow-away zone.
  • Escape's directions from Los Angeles: the 10 or 91 East to the 215 North, exit 43 (2nd Street) or 44A (5th Street).
  • Metrolink, as published by Escape: ride any regular train to San Bernardino – Downtown and walk to the entrance. To get home, an Insomniac Events Special Service train leaves San Bernardino – Downtown at 3:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31 and 2:00 a.m. Sunday, November 1, with select stops from Fontana through Covina and El Monte to L.A. Union Station. A $25 special ticket in the Metrolink app covers unlimited travel Friday through Sunday. Escape also lists City Shuttles on its travel page.
  • From Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Calabasas or Pasadena: enter your address and the distance is quoted per route in the booking form. From Orange County, Irvine, Newport Beach or Long Beach, likewise; the 91 is the usual way out.

Timing: the 2 a.m. finish, the 6 a.m. afterparty, and the date on the booking

A festival that ends at 2 a.m. means the pickup is on the next calendar date: a Friday night ride home is booked for Saturday, October 31 at 2 a.m. or later, and a Saturday night ride for Sunday, November 1. If you are going to the afterparty, the pickup is 6 a.m. Put the right date in the form and tell dispatch which night it is. The exit from a festival of this size takes time; set a fixed pickup for at least 30 to 45 minutes after the close, or book hourly and message when you are walking out.

For two people from Los Angeles, two transfers are almost always the better value. For a group that wants one Sprinter reserved for the whole night, book a long hourly block (online blocks run 4 to 15 hours, the clock starts at the pickup, and the form raises the minimum hours for a route this long). Extra time is billed at the same hourly rate.

Choosing the service

Hourly chauffeur, or two scheduled transfers?

For San Bernardino, compare two transfers first; a long hourly block (10, 12 or 15 hours) is for a group that wants one vehicle reserved for the whole night. Both are quoted per route and show in full in the booking form with your addresses.

Hourly chauffeurTwo scheduled transfers
Best forA group that wants one Sprinter or SUV reserved all night, with the car staged nearby and a pickup when you are readyTwo to seven people going out and back at known times; the usual choice for the distance
How it worksThe chauffeur and vehicle are reserved for the hours you book, drive you out, stage where waiting is permitted, and bring you backOne ride to the guest drop-off, one ride home from it, each at a time you set, with the return on the next calendar date

Price basisRate × hours: Comfort Sedan $80, Luxury SUV $120, Escalade Elite $130, Sprinter $175 per hour; the form sets the minimum hours for this distanceTwo distance-based fares, quoted per route from your address; book both together and save 5%

All prices from the Lux4Rides booking form on October 10, 2026, including taxes and fees, before the optional gratuity (20% preselected, adjustable). Hourly service covers about 25 miles of local driving per booked hour; for San Bernardino the form raises the minimum hours and the fare is quoted for your route.
