Dates, hours and halls
The 2026 show runs Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, its 15th year. General admission hours are Friday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; VIP badge holders enter at 2:30 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The convention center lists the show in West Hall A, South Hall GHJK, Concourse Hall and Kentia Hall, plus meeting rooms in the 300 series (South Building) and the 400 series (Concourse Walkway), so tell your chauffeur which hall you are starting in.
The organizers describe it as one of the largest pop culture gatherings on the West Coast: more than 130,000 fans across three days in 2025, with 250-plus panels and more than 800 artists and exhibitors. The guest list announced for 2026 includes film and television names, and the organizers say more are added most weeks. Expect the busiest arrival on Saturday morning, which is also Halloween.
Tickets, badges and kids
Every attendee needs a valid ticket or badge. Kids 12 and under attend free, but each child still needs a Kids Pass selected at checkout with an adult ticket, and all minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you bought a ticket for someone aged 16 or older, it has to be transferred to them before they arrive. The badge mailing deadline was October 9, 2026; for anyone collecting on site, attendee badge pick-up opens at 8:00 a.m. on Friday and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Props get checked. The organizers publish a cosplay props and weapons policy and say security may require an unsafe or prohibited prop to be returned to your car, removed or surrendered. That line is a practical argument for having a car nearby: on an hourly booking, a prop that does not pass can go back to the vehicle instead of the bin. Tickets are sold through the show's ticketing partner; we quote no prices, and Lux4Rides is not affiliated with L.A. Comic Con or the convention center.
Getting there: closures, garages and where a car can stop
The convention center is in the middle of its Expansion and Modernization Project, and the closures are significant. Pico Boulevard between Figueroa Street and LA Live Way is fully closed 24 hours a day through March 31, 2028. The West Hall Garage entrance is reachable from LA Live Way only. At Figueroa Street and Washington Boulevard there is no through traffic while restrictions are active (on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.): every vehicle must turn right. The convention center suggests Flower Street, Grand Avenue, Olive Street or Hill Street for north-south trips, Venice Boulevard, Adams Boulevard or Olympic Boulevard for east-west, or the 110 north to exit 22.
Neither the convention center nor L.A. Comic Con publishes a designated rideshare or car drop-off zone; both simply encourage rideshare, carpooling and Metro over driving. In practice your chauffeur drops you at the nearest legal curb to your hall entrance on Figueroa Street or around L.A. LIVE, following posted signs and traffic officers on the day, and meets you at an agreed point afterwards. Next door, Crypto.com Arena's designated white zones on Chick Hearn Court and on southbound Figueroa between 12th Street and Pico are the closest marked pick-up areas in the district. On an hourly booking the chauffeur and vehicle are reserved for the hours you book, stage where waiting is permitted and coordinate your return pickup; no car can wait at the hall doors.
Driving yourself: the show asks you to park in the West Hall or South Hall garages. The convention center lists parking from $30 to $60 depending on the event and garage (its visitor FAQ gives $35 to $45), cards only, with no re-entry, and garage hours of 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. that may change. The organizers say onsite parking is likely to be reduced and may fill quickly at peak arrival times.
- Metro: Pico station (A and E Lines) is about an 8-minute walk; 7th St/Metro Center 10 to 15 minutes; LATTC/Ortho Institute (E Line) 10 to 12 minutes.
- The convention center does not run a shuttle; it says nearby hotels may offer one.
Halloween weekend around the convention center
Saturday, October 31 stacks events along Figueroa. The Kings play Buffalo at Crypto.com Arena next door at 1:00 p.m., USC hosts Ohio State at the Coliseum further down Figueroa with the kickoff still to be announced, and Halloween night brings its own traffic. On Sunday, November 1, the Lakers host Toronto at Crypto.com Arena at 6:00 p.m., an hour after the show floor closes. A chauffeur does not make the streets emptier, but a set meeting point and a driver who is already nearby make the exit far simpler than calling a ride into the same few blocks as everyone else.
Timing the day
For Saturday or Sunday, arriving around opening time beats the late-morning rush; set the pickup so you reach the curb by about 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 opening, earlier if you are collecting badges. For Friday's 3:00 p.m. start, a weekday afternoon in downtown traffic is the constraint; leave extra time if you are coming from the Westside.
When you are ready to leave, message the chauffeur as you walk out of the hall, not when you reach the street. A day at a convention often ends later than planned; on an hourly booking extra time is billed at the same hourly rate, and on a scheduled transfer you can text dispatch to move the return, subject to availability.
Cosplay, families and groups
A costume with wings, armor or a large prop is awkward on a train platform and worse in a stranger's back seat. An Escalade Elite (six passengers, five bags) or a Luxury SUV (seven passengers, six bags) gives a costume room; a Mercedes Sprinter takes up to fourteen when booked online. For families, child seats are $25 each per ride, installed before pickup, and on an hourly booking they stay in the car with the strollers and the shopping from the show floor.
Coming from across Southern California
From Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Calabasas or Pasadena, enter your address in the booking form; the fare is set by mapped distance, and a 6-hour block covers most convention days including the drive. From Orange County, Irvine, Newport Beach or Long Beach, two transfers usually cost less than holding a car all day. Flying in: LAX to The Biltmore in downtown Los Angeles was $122 one way in a Comfort Sedan on October 10, 2026 ($152 Luxury SUV, $198 Escalade Elite, $202 Executive Sedan, $522 Sprinter), and the chauffeur tracks your flight.
