The game, and what is still open
The Rose Bowl event page lists USC vs UCLA on November 28, 2026, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with the start time shown as TBD. Check the event page and UCLA Athletics in November for the confirmed time; until then, plan around a window rather than a clock time and book transport that can move with the announcement.
The stadium is at 1001 Rose Bowl Dr, Pasadena, CA 91103. Parking areas open six hours before kickoff, tailgating is encouraged, alcohol in the tailgate areas stops at kickoff, and all vehicles must leave the lots within 90 minutes of the end of the game.
Tickets and admission
Tickets are sold through UCLA Athletics, linked from the Rose Bowl event page; the stadium shows no prices, so check the official link for availability and cost. Every patron aged 3 and up needs a full-priced ticket; children 2 and under enter free on an adult's lap. Add the ticket to your phone's wallet before you arrive. There are no in-and-out privileges: once you leave the stadium you cannot re-enter. Lux4Rides is not affiliated with UCLA, USC or the Rose Bowl and does not sell tickets.
Bags, strollers and what stays in the car
The Rose Bowl runs a clear bag policy for all events. Approved: a clear plastic bag up to 12" × 6" × 12", a one-gallon freezer bag, a clutch no larger than 4.5" × 6.5", or a diaper bag accompanied by a child. Backpacks, purses, fanny packs and camera cases are not approved; anything larger goes back to the vehicle or into an item check-in tent, so leave coats and the second bag with your chauffeur.
Umbrellas, coolers, glass, cans and containers over 32 oz are prohibited; factory-sealed plastic bottles and empty reusable bottles are allowed, two per person. Strollers are welcome but cannot be stored in aisles; check them at Tunnel 27 or the Gate C tent. Child seats and boosters for the ride are $25 each per ride, installed before the chauffeur leaves for your pickup.
Getting there: the stadium's rideshare rule, parking and where a car can meet you
The Rose Bowl's instruction for UCLA football games is blunt: "all rideshare and taxi services must drop-off and pick-up the Old Town area of Pasadena." From there the stadium runs a free express shuttle between the Parsons Engineering Complex in Old Town and Lot B / Gate B on major event days. Event traffic is kept out of the residential streets around the stadium, and everyone follows traffic-control officers and posted signs.
For a chauffeured car, plan on the same baseline: the chauffeur drops you in Old Town for the Parsons shuttle; after the game you ride the shuttle back and message the chauffeur as you board, so the car is at the agreed Old Town meeting point when you step off. The published rule names rideshare and taxi, and traffic control decides on the day where any passenger vehicle may stop, so dispatch confirms the exact meeting point with you the day before. No car can hold a spot at a gate.
To arrive at the stadium itself, the published option is a parking pass: $35 plus a $3 fee in advance, on sale until 10 p.m. the evening before, or $40 plus a $4 fee on the day at the lot entry, card only. Lots have no in-and-out privileges, so a vehicle that drives in stays until you leave. On an hourly booking that works: the chauffeur drives the group in with your pass, waits in the lot for the hours you have booked, and you walk back to the car instead of queuing for the shuttle.
- From Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Calabasas or anywhere in Los Angeles: enter your address in the booking form; for a day with a tailgate, hourly usually makes more sense.
- From Orange County (Irvine, Newport Beach, Long Beach): a firm return time points to two transfers, a flexible finish to hourly; the form raises the minimum hours for a long route.
Timing the arrival and the exit
With kickoff unconfirmed, book for the arrival window you want relative to kickoff and tell dispatch you will adjust once the time is announced; on an hourly booking the clock starts at the pickup time, so a later kickoff simply shifts the pickup. Tailgaters should aim for the lot opening, six hours before kickoff; a non-tailgating group arriving 90 minutes before has time for the shuttle and the bag check.
The exit is the slow part: the lots must be empty within 90 minutes, the shuttle queue at Lot B builds as soon as the game ends, and Old Town fills with everyone else's rideshares. A chauffeur already staged at the agreed Old Town point, or waiting in the lot with your pass, is what the hourly rate buys.
